Because you can’t trust … and I can’t be trusted.

Putting Loki into a bureaucratic nightmare state a la Hitchhiker’s Guide the the Galaxy is inspired and first two “Loki” episodes are much tighter than the starts of the previous two series this year. It’s all still MCU filler—but that’s ok because it (should) mean less exposition for the films. And it’s a lot of fun with impeccable production design.

I do, however, hate the credit sequence trend of these MCU shows. Either put the whole cast in every episode or condense it a la HBO. This whole leaving gaps when an actor isn’t present is annoying. It creates needless speculation when they leave all that blank space between “with Tara Strong” and “and Owen Wilson”. It’s manipulative.
