Disney sent the first episode of “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” on its own for review. It’s all set-up with a bit of action and a cliffhanger that anyone paying attention to the cast list should already be expecting. It’s a pilot. No more. No less.

As for the rest? It’s was uneven and over-long, but they did stick the landing as those last two episodes were pretty great. Give Carl Lumbly an Emmy.
