Maybe we should let me go.

Should probably be retitled to Super/Man: Christopher Reeve’s Legacy as this is definitely more about the origins and importance of his foundation than a real in-depth look into him. Showing how the injury changed him for the better as an advocate, artist, and father by using the past to contextualize the evolution.

Puts emotion above detail every step of the way—making it a heartfelt and impactful watch even as it also proves pretty shallow as a biography. The goal seems to have been to make a nice memorial to a friend and father from those who loved him and were loved by him. It succeeds in that.

Glenn Close with the biggest gut-punch: “If Chris were still here, I believe Robin (Williams) would be too.”
